HERALD advised Groupe H\u00f4pital Priv\u00e9 de la Manche on the acquisition of Clinique William Harvey (Saint-Martin d’Aubigny) from the Inicea \u2013 Clariane group. This strategic transaction, led by the Groupe H\u00f4pital Priv\u00e9 de la Manche (HPM), marks a new stage in the consolidation of short- and medium-stay healthcare services in the Manche region.<\/span><\/h6>\n

 <\/p>\n

Having already advised Pierre-Fran\u00e7ois B\u00e9rard, CEO of HPM, on the takeover of the Clinique de Saint-L\u00f4 in 2024 as part of a receivership, Herald confirms its long-term expertise in mergers and acquisitions and balance sheet transactions in private surgical groups and healthcare sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pierre-Fran\u00e7ois B\u00e9rard, the current head of HPM, was born in Saint-L\u00f4 and previously held various management positions in private surgical groups in Normandy. He has developed in-depth knowledge of this healthcare region and its various public and private players.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The William Harvey Clinic, an establishment renowned for its excellence in follow-up care and cardiac rehabilitation, has a high-level technical platform and 90 beds and places. Its integration into the HPM group is part of a strategy of geographical and medical complementarity with the activities already carried out in Saint-L\u00f4, in the service of an ambitious regional project.<\/span><\/p>\n

The operation has brought together a wide range of public and private stakeholders \u2013 practitioners, institutional investors (Bpifrance), regional banks and local authorities \u2013 around the project led by Pierre-Fran\u00e7ois B\u00e9rard, an experienced manager in the sector. This entrepreneurial drive confirms HPM’s strong regional roots and its ability to offer flexible, high-quality care. This acquisition will enable the HPM Group to pursue its ambition of providing excellent short- and medium-stay care in an underserved region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commenting on the transaction, Vincent Siguier said: “I am very pleased to have been able to support Pierre-Fran\u00e7ois B\u00e9rard, with whom I have worked for several years, in this transaction, this time in my capacity as a manager. As he demonstrated when he took over the reins at the Clinique de Saint Lo, I have no doubt that, in the context of this new acquisition, he will be able to unite the teams around him and attract new professionals to develop an expanded range of healthcare services for the benefit of the healthcare region where he comes from and which is particularly close to his heart.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
