Corinne Hovnanian, a partner at the firm since 2021, heads the Competition, Distribution, and Consumer Law practice group. She advises French and foreign companies—both in an advisory capacity and in litigation—on the structuring and negotiation of distribution networks in France and abroad, as well as on the drafting of contracts (procurement, supply, cooperation, partnership, affiliation, listing, and licensing).
She has developed particular expertise in supplier-distributor relationships, especially in commercial negotiations with large retail chains, and regularly leads training sessions and conferences for businesses. She is also a partner at ARIA Île-de-France.
Since 1999, she has also advised clients in France’s overseas territories, where she has solid experience and in-depth knowledge of local economic and regulatory issues.
She also practices competition law, assisting companies in implementing their compliance programs and in litigation involving anticompetitive practices.
Corinne regularly handles cases involving unfair competition, labeling, product regulations, pricing policies, terms and conditions of sale and purchase, unfair trade practices, and termination of contractual relationships.
She also assists her clients in negotiating contracts (distribution, manufacturing, service agreements, research and development, cooperation, and partnerships) and in ensuring the legal soundness of commercial and advertising materials intended for consumers (advertisements, consumer contracts, distance selling, and e-commerce sites).
In addition, as a certified mediator, Corinne is regularly called upon to handle complex cases involving distribution and contract termination. She also assists family-owned businesses with intergenerational succession planning.

A lawyer since 1998, Corinne Hovnanian holds a CAPA and a DESS in international trade law from the University of Paris V.
