HERALD and Philippe VEBER enter into a strategic alliance to create a leading sports law offering

HERALD is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Philippe Veber, a renowned lawyer and expert in sports law, with the aim of strengthening and structuring a cross‑disciplinary legal offering dedicated to stakeholders in high and elite‑level sports, both in France and internationally.

With more than thirty years of experience, Philippe Veber founded Veber Avocats in 2008. A recognised specialist in sports law, he advises and litigates, regularly assisting his clients before the legal and disciplinary committees of national and international federations, particularly in sensitive cases involving sporting sanctions. His expertise also extends to business law as applied to the sports sector, employment law for athletes and contract law. He assists a predominantly private clientele – professional athletes, sports agents, clubs, motor racing teams, event organisers and major players in the sports industry – in France and abroad.

Philippe Veber has handled high‑profile cases and is notably active in disciplines such as football, endurance racing, the W2RC (Dakar), Formula E, and professional cycling (World Tour), among others.

Through this alliance, Philippe Veber intends to work closely with the firm’s various practice groups. This partnership is part of a strategy of mutual development, with a view, in the longer term, to a broader integration of his practice within HERALD.
