Appointment of Caroline Truong as Counsel in the Insurance Law Department

HERALD, formerly Granrut, announces the appointment of Caroline Truong as Counsel in its Insurance Law Department. This cooptation is part of the firm’s strong development.

Caroline Truong has worked for over 9 years in the team led by Pierre-Yves Rossignol, a partner renowned for his expertise in insurance law and commercial litigation. Alongside him, she has developed solid expertise in life insurance, product liability and commercial litigation.

Aged 36, Caroline advises a client base consisting mainly of leading French insurance companies. She also advises institutional clients in Luxembourg and Germany.

Caroline’s expertise covers the analysis of insurance policies and their compliance with legal provisions. She defends insurers and manufacturers in procedures for the recall of defective products and in legal proceedings brought by individuals and consumer associations.

Caroline Truong holds a Master 2 in Insurance Law from the University of Paris II – Panthéon Assas (obtained in 2010), as well as a degree in Common Law from the Institute of Comparative Law at the University of Paris II (2007).

She joined HERALD in September 2014 after an initial collaboration with Trillat & Associés (2011-2013) and a legal advisory assignment with Amundi immobilier (2013-2014). She was sworn in in 2011.
