Paris, 18th October 2024

HERALD, formerly Granrut, announces the arrival of Louis-Romain Riché as Litigation Partner. This appointment is in line with the firm’s strategy of developing its litigation activities and confirms its ambition for growth.

Louis-Romain Riché is a recognised expert in civil, commercial and criminal business litigation, advising French and international companies (based in Switzerland, the United States, Luxembourg and Belgium) on all issues relating to unfair competition, breach of contract and fraud.

With over ten years’ experience, Louis-Romain has also developed first-rate expertise in the management of inheritance disputes and international trusts on behalf of major French fortunes. He also provides strategic advice to investment funds during M&A and private equity negotiations.

The appointment of Louis-Romain Riché brings the number of partners in the firm to 14. Further recruitments are planned in 2025 to meet the growing needs of the firm’s clients.

Jean Castelain, partner and former President of the Bar, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Louis-Romain to the firm. After the arrival of Arnaud Levasseur and Christophe Jacomin last January, he is another great addition to the firm. A shrewd litigator, he is also a strategist who is appreciated for his clear-sighted approach to the complicated cases he handles. There is no doubt that he will soon find his place among us”.

Louis-Romain Riché said: “I am very proud to be joining HERALD. I have had the pleasure of working with Jean and his talented team for several years on strategic litigation. I was convinced by the firm’s positioning, its multiple areas of expertise in all the strategic areas of business law and the synergies that exist between its departments. HERALD also has a highly integrated international network, which is essential for managing complex situations.

Louis Romain joins the firm with his associate, Laure Diu-Lambrechts.
