With 25 years of experience, Valérie Ravit began her career at Norton Rose in the Litigation and Insurance Department before joining Bouckaert Ormen Passemard Sportes, where she became a partner in 2006. Since 2015, she had been a partner at Squire Patton Boggs.

Valérie Ravit’s practice focuses primarily on insurance law, civil liability, defective products, and environmental risks. She advises insurers specializing in large-scale risks as well as leading industrial groups, particularly in the pharmaceutical and environmental sectors.

Recognized for her expertise in the civil and regulatory issues surrounding environmental matters and healthcare products, she also handles complex, large-scale claims and international matters, especially those involving UK and US stakeholders.

This appointment reflects HERALD’s commitment to further developing its Insurance Department while strengthening its environmental law offering, which has become a strategic priority for companies facing an increasingly demanding regulatory framework and a growing number of disputes related to environmental risks.

Together with her team—including Roxane Hervy, who specializes in product liability, and Marin Denizet, whose expertise in environmental law complements the firm’s services—HERALD gains a highly complementary and experienced team, well suited to addressing its clients’ current challenges.
